A few months ago, While MCing a Burlesque Show I was sent, from the audience, a few cocktails by the name of Dark and Stormy. It was my first time trying them and I have to say that they were amazing!
I looked up the recipe and made them for Pre-Thanksgiving-supper happy hour, for the members of my family – some of whom were babies and complained that the drinks were too spicy, and the others, the ones with (obviously) excellent taste, found them magnificent. So! Now I’m sharing them with you.
2 ounces of Rum (The ones at the venue were made with dark rum. I used Sailor Jerry’s Spiced rum)
3 ounces of Ginger beer
A squeeze (about a half ounce) of lime juice
Lime wedges for garnish
