When I heard that Urban Decay had caved and compromised their standards by agreeing to sell in China, where they would not be able to uphold their guarantee of no animal testing/vegan cosmetics, I was heartbroken.
Happily I can report that our efforts and outcries have not gone unnoticed.
After re-consideration, Urban Decay has decided not to sell in China and to keep their products animal-friendly.
I can’t tell you how happy I am to hear this! It’s hard enough finding quality cosmetics that we like but to find vegan cosmetics we like is that much more difficult.
Hat’s off to Urban Decay for participating in real evolution and continuing to set the bar.
