We’re Going Live

This Sunday, April 2, 2022, at 4:00 pm, for week two of our meal prep series with Behaviour Change Specialist and Personal Trainer Adelade – of AGM Health and Fitness. We’re prepping ingredients that can be used for many recipes with ease throughout the week. I will be doing a plant-based version and Adelade will be doing a non-plant-based version!

This week’s recipe is based on the build-a-bowl concept and I’ll be throwing together a Burrito Bowl and a Chickpea and Roasted Veg bowl that, with a little tweaking, you can also serve and eat as wraps and salads!

What you’ll need to make your own custom bowls:

2 Whole grains, a variety of veggies and 2 proteins of your choice, plus dressings and fresh herbs or microgreens for garnish.

What you’ll need to cook along with me:

Burrito Bowl//Taco Salad/Wrap

Whole Wheat Tortilla

Brown Rice

Black Beans




Bell pepper

Red onion


Salsa (store bought or homemade)

Roasted Veg & Chickpeas Bowl/Wrap/Salad


Sweet Potato

Brussel Sprouts





Green onion

Tahini Maple Sauce (tahini, water, apple cider vinegar, maple syrup, Nutritional yeast, Salt and freshly ground black pepper)
