About me

A life threatening illness with no definitive cause, according to the specialists at the hospital, was nothing short of a wake-up call for me. Having already been vegetarian since the age of 18 years old, it wasn't the biggest jump to vegan at the age of 40. It also wasn't a final step or stage as much as an eye opening beginning of an ever evolving journey. What we put on our plates and into our mouths influences not only our bodies, our minds and our spirit, but the rest of the world. From the moment that food is conceived, through the growth, processing, packaging and distribution, there are countless people and environmental factors affected.
